Mission Selection
To allow the players to have some flow of the campaign. Players will get say in what mission type of mission they want to play. Selecting order of preference from the available missions. This will need to be done ahead of game day so the WarMaster can plan the weeks matches.
The default mission categories, users will get to set their order of preference from:
Attack Mission
Scout Mission
Defend Mission
The WarMaster will use this to decide who will be playing who for mission. (Not everyone will get their number one pick).
Rule Changes
We will be following the Crusade rules within the Warhammer 40K 9th Edition Core rules, with some changes:
All up to date F&Q and points.
CP will be like Nilpham, start games 3 CP, then gain one each persons turns. (Also any extra due to Crusades point difference)
Points will be used. Not Power Levels. 1000 to start with.
Anywhere in the rules use 1 Power level = 20 Points
All tables need to be rolled on and not player selected. If you are not happy with the result then you can make a case to the WarMaster who can override it. This includes but is not limited to Battle Traits, Weapon Enhancements, Psychic Fortitudes, Out of Action and Battle Honour.
No named characters. (If this is a major issue please talk to the WarMaster)
Requisition's Fresh Recruits, Rearm and Resupply, Specialist Reinforcements, Equipment Shipment and add new units to your Order of Battle does not happen straight away. You first active it and make your request. WarMaster will let you know if your ships are delayed.
Equipment
Use this to record your Equipment. Equipment is used to change units weapons loadout. For example add a plasma rife to a unit. All equipment has a minimal cost of 1. So for example swapping an Ork boy swapping a Choppa for a Shoota it will use 1 equipment cost. All none original equipment cost will get added to the total supply used for the mission.
Example. You have a standard Primaris Chaplain (Costing 85 points), you can upgrade him to a Primaris Chaplain on Bike. You can get his Bike as Equipment using 40 Equipment points. Or you have an Assault Intercessor Sergeant already kitted with a Power sword. You can add a Power for 10 Equipment.
Use the Equipment Storage tab in your roaster to keep track of what extra Equipment you have stored. You cant have more equipment than you have storage space for. Its free to throw away equipment. (But let the WarMaster know, it might become apart of a mission.....)
There are new equipment related things you are use Requisition on.
Storage Space - 1 RP. Increase your equipment storage by 20.
Equipment Shipment - 1 RP. Request new equipment, you are not able to exceed your storage space. This does not happen straight away. Let the WarMaster know when you do this, things might get delayed in shipping......
Please check with the WarMaster if you have any questions
Out of Action
When a unit gets destroyed during a mission roll on this Out of Action table instead of the main one in the Core Rules.
Battle Honour
Instead of picking battle honour, you must roll on the following table, rerolling results that cannot be applied to that unit. You must then roll randomly for the upgrade. The WarMaster can allow you reroll if the upgrade doesn’t have any real effect on the unit being upgraded.
